1. We’ve been creating tipi events for ten years

We’re proud to be one of the oldest tipi hire companies in the UK. Over the past ten years we’ve seen it all: the best and the worst of the British weather, events of every shape and size, and all sorts of challenges overcome to make sure each event is just as fantastic as imagined.

In that time, we’ve gotten the creation of gorgeous tipi events down to a fine art. We’re trusted by our longstanding clients, many of whom book us year after year, and our new clients always comment on our ‘can do’ attitude. 

This also means that we have a wide range of furniture and interior options. Solid wooden bar? You’ve got a whole range to choose from. Vintage chandeliers? Yep. Giant vintage wagon wheels? Those too. 

2. Our tipi hire HQ is based in Oxfordshire, and we work up and down the country

Our warehouse couldn’t be more conveniently located. Based just off of the M40 motorway, it makes us the first choice for tipi hire in Oxfordshire, but also gives us easy access to the rest of the country.

We offer free transportation within forty miles of our tipi warehouse in Wheatley, Oxfordshire. We also give our clients in the rest of the country the equivalent discount, meaning the first and last forty miles of delivery and collection are free. 

From the Highlands of Scotland to the Isle of Wight — we really do work everywhere. 

3. We do tipis…and everything else

Do you want us to take care of glamping? Perhaps you want recommendations for your perfect venue? No problem. What’s more, as the event nears, our experienced production managers can organise your suppliers on site. 

Many of our clients are looking for advice with the nuts and bolts of event production. From loos, to lighting, to temporary event power, we can organise all of the unglamorous but very necessary elements of your event. When clients book our generators and a medium or large power distribution package, this includes liaison with various suppliers, such as caterers and the bar team, to calculate electricity pull and distribute the power accordingly.

If there’s one thing our clients know, it’s that Katah Events don’t skimp on quality. And that’s the reason we only use Tentipi tents. 

The origins of the tents lie with the Indigenous Sámi people of Scandinavia, and today Tentipi still sew their tents in Lapland. Despite the host of imitators, Tentipi tipis are the most beautiful and durable. 

Tipis have a transformative effect on the landscape around them, and their versatility means we our clients can enjoy the very best of the UK’s gorgeous open spaces – and city centres!
