Searching for the (other) perfect event tent
Sometimes you just have to make a change. We are very faithful to the timeless tipi design, because tipis are just perfect for events for all of the reasons we’ve written about before. They’re beautiful, modular, a blank canvas.
But, we must confess, we’ve been thinking about adding a different style of tent to our offering for a while. We knew it had to be special, because our clients come to us for tent hire in the UK because of our high standards. And we finally found what we were looking for in early 2021.
Now available to hire in Oxfordshire
Now, from our headquarters in Oxfordshire, we are very proud to offer the gorgeous Kaya Marquee for event hire. The Kaya is a unique design that was handmade in the UK. At full size it is a three-pole tent, measuring 11 x 28 metres from end to end. It is made from premium canvas, with wooden front poles for a classic effect, and has a delicately scalloped edge. For smaller capacity events, the Kaya can be installed with two poles, measuring 11 x 19.5 metres.
To maximise on fresh air and the great outdoors, the tent can have full sides, half sides or no sides. Using the tent with half sides or less counts as it being an outdoor event, according to government regulations as of 21st June 2021. This means a beautiful centre point for your wedding, party or music event which offers cover from the elements.
As with all of our tents, the Kaya Marquee is available to hire for private and business events. Based in Oxfordshire, Katah Events creates many events in the local area such as Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and the Cotswolds.
